We replaced a Thermo-Fisher for this model. It was displayed at a IMGEN TECH local exhibit. It ran very quietly and we were impressed so we purchase our very first one. Runs up to 17000 rpm quietly.

Surprising Quiet

In our first Gyrozen purchase, we ran it to 17000 rpm at 4c and it's very quiet compared to the other models we had. The centrifuge goes quickly to set speed and after the spin, it decelerates beautifully. We will consider another purchase in the future.

I have the Gyrozen 1536, 1730R and the tabletop Gyrozen 1580R w/ both Swing-Out and Fixed angles rotors. Each one preforms as expected. I really like that all the centrifuges are quiet and easy to use. I highly recommend these centrifuges for anyone replacing or setting up a new lab like I did.

It's over a year and the Gyrozen 1730R is still going strong. I use the 24pl x 1.5/2.0ml fixed angle rotor and it runs quietly at a max speed of 17000 rpm. I like the "Easy Lock Rotor Lid" and the centrifuge maintains temp easily at max speed. Good purchase!

Purchased in May 2018, so far so good. I am using the 30pl x 1.5/2.0ml fixed angle rotor. Very quiet and dependable.
